AMY DRAKE IS WANTED FOR PUTTING POLITICS OVER PEOPLE!

Just a couple of months after she took office, in the spring of 2023, she opposed accepting a $100,000 grant for the St. Joe County Health department to provide. Narcan education and resources because of the word “equity” in the grant. 

Drake insisted that, “Equity is a political term that advocates giving one group more, giving one group less or taking away from one group to give to another…a redistribution of resources, obliterating meritocracy, and reverse discrimination.”

She sure knows what a “political term” is although it’s not “equity” but “reverse discrimination” that is nonsense political terminology.

Don't let Amy fool you. Equity is good and we all rely upon it. Equity leads to a responsible allocation of money and resources. Equitable distribution means Narcan would be concentrated in neighborhoods where overdoses are occurring while “equal” distribution Amy argues for would put Narcan in the middle of a cornfield somewhere. 

Amy claim that Narcan distribution is “marxism” and “critical race theory.”

At the last moment, two-time VP of the Library Board, Ann Rosen lost her position.

Rosen’s second term had expired and when her reappointment came up for a vote, it seemed like a sure thing, Rosen was the only one on the agenda.

Drake said, “This is a political appointment…Rhonda Richards would better represent our values [as a Council].” 

Those “values?” Apparently banning books that don’t fit the worldview of people like Amy Drake.

After voting AGAINST adequate pay for the St. Joe County Police Department, Amy continued her campaign against law enforcement.

Amy colluded with Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita to publicly embarrass and sue the sheriff of St. Joe County, Bill Redman.

Why? Because Redman is a Democrat.

AG Rokita started targeting sheriffs and police chiefs who are either elected Democrats or just because they live in what Rokita believes is a “blue” city.

With ZERO evidence, Amy wrote a blog post for The Federalist. (Refusing to call it an “article” because it’s not anything close to journalism.) She entitled the post Indiana Attorney General Sues South Bend Sheriff For Refusing To Enforce Immigration Laws which is a blatant lie.
